Acting Mayor Carmela Acebedo eyes temporary place for puto bumbong, bibingka vendors for Christmas season

San Pablo Acting Mayor Carmela Acebedo and other city government officials met with vendors of puto bumbong and bibingka vendors to discuss where they could sell their food during the Christmas season while making sure that roads are not obstructed.

Also present at the meeting were city councilors, Acting Vice Mayor Shaira Diaz, and a representative from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Acebedo said the city government wants to ensure that there would be a proper place for them.

An ordinance is being prepared for this, and this would have to undergo the proper hearing and process at the city council.

In the meantime, the city government is also studying the possibility of designating a temporary area near the church so that they could sell their wares while waiting for the proposed ordinance to be approved.
