The Indang police have arrested two suspects in the killing of an elderly couple and their grandchild in Indang.
Murder cases gave have been filed against the suspects before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
In a statement, the Cavite Police Provincial Office said the suspects were arrested through swift follow-up operations conducted by the Indang Municipal Police Station.
The victims were found dead in their nipa hut shortly after gunshots were heard in the area.
Police said a witness saw two individuals enter the nipa hut before the shots rang out.
The witness then sought police assistance.
Investigation revealed that the suspects earlier figured in a heated altercation with two of the victims.
Cavite Police Provincial Director PCOL Ariel Red commended the responding and investigating police for their swift action and determined efforts that led to the identification and apprehension of the two suspects.
“We will not allow a brutal act such as this to go unanswered. The Cavite Police Provincial Office will relentlessly pursue those responsible and ensure that they face the full force of the law,” Red said.
