Mayor Ted Carranza says 19 school building projects have been implemented during his term

Silang Mayor Ted Carranza said that in his first year of office, he was able to ensure the construction of 19 school buildings.

Carranza said 12 buildings are already in use, while seven are under construction.

He said he prioritized education when his term began.

He wants to put a stop to the practice of having class in shifts due to the inadequate number of classrooms.

“Mula nang tayo ay maupo bilang Mayor, patuloy nating pinaprioridad ang pagpapagawa ng mga school buildings para mas maging maayos, ligtas at komportable ang pag-aaral ng ating mga kabataan,” he said.

He thanked Cavite Rep. Roy Loyola for the school buildings in Santol Elementary School and Pulong Bunga Elementary School, and Cavite Gov. Abeng Remulla for the school buildings for Puting Kahoy Elementary School and Lumil National High School.

He also thanked Compass Training Center for the new classroom for the Paligawan Elementary school.

“Hindi lang tayo nangangako gumagawa tayo ng konkretong hakbang para sa mas magandang edukasyon at kinabukasan ng mga kabataan ng Silang,” he said.
