Rep. Ramil Hernandez pushes discount for students’ cellphone load

For many students, mobile load and data are crucial for their schoolwork, which is why Laguna Rep. Ramil Hernandez wants to ensure their access to affordable prepaid load and internet.

Hernandez has filed a bill proposing the Student Load Discount Act, which aims to provide students with discounts for mobile services such as load and mobile data.

He said this will also help ensure that they can have safe and reliable internet access for online learning and other school requirements.

He called on the public to support his proposal.

“Samahan niyo po akong itaguyod ang panukalang ito, para mas maraming kabataan pa ang makasabay sa pag‑aaral at magkaroon ng patas na pagkakataon na maabot ang kanilang pangarap,” he said.
